The special edition of the engineer’s sports chronograph ‘Mercedes-AMG 50th Anniversary’ (model: IW380902) is limited to 250 pieces and is driven by a home-made movement with the flyback function 89361. The case is made of titanium and the silver-plated dial is equipped with a tachymeter scale. The watch is equipped with an antimagnetic soft iron inner case, which is in the same vein as the original engineer’s watch of 1955. Through the sapphire glass case back, the soft iron inner case is clearly visible, and the radial grooves are particularly similar to the shape of the AMG brake disc. The engraving of ‘A TRIBUTE TO ONE MAN, ONE ENGINE’ (one person specifies one engine) shows the world that each powerful engine unit of Mercedes-AMG is fully assembled by a designated engine engineer in the factory.
