The Saxony watch brand Lange, with a total score of 247 points (out of 300 points), once again topped the list of ‘Luxury Brands’ organized by German ‘Economic Weekly’, ahead of other German cars, furniture, Watches, jewelry and fashion brands. This is also the fifth consecutive time that Lange has topped the list since 2007. The selection results were announced in the 13th issue of the Economic Weekly on March 24, 2016.
The ‘Luxury Brands List’ is organized by Economic Weekly and published every two years, and is compiled by Markenberatung Biesalski & Company and BrandNetworks. The ranking is based on the opinions of more than 180 industry experts and is scored on four criteria, including reputation, quality, design and price positioning.
‘Langer is committed to creating the world’s top timepieces, and our ambitious goals have never changed. Relying on outstanding creativity, outstanding employees, superb craftsmanship and advanced technology, we will continue to make mechanical watches a masterpiece of timepieces,’ Lange said. CEO Wilhelm Schmid pointed out, ‘This summit once again highlights the brand’s ambitious burden and will inspire us to move forward.’ (Xu Chaoyang, the home of the picture / text watch)
