At the last SIHH salon exhibition, Lange launched the 1815 chronograph on the basis of Datograph, which watch fans are familiar with. At the upcoming SIHH 2012, Lange will launch a new AUF / AB storage display chronograph DATOGRAPH watch.
Lange Datograph Up / Down is also full of personality. The first thing that caught the eye was its new 41mm case, which made it even more eye-catching on the wrist. Rhodium-plated rod-shaped moments have replaced the Roman numerals II, VI, X, which not only enhances the design sense, but also makes the Saxonia series watch imprint at a glance. The date display is adjusted to 4% to reflect the large case and maintain the symmetry of the dial structure.
‘Up / Down’ refers to the energy storage display at 6 o’clock, which allows the wearer to know exactly how much running time is left. When the pointer points to the red area after three days, you should wind the movement (caliber L951.6). Compared with the previous model, its larger spring can provide an additional 24-hour power reserve.
The large balance wheel independently developed by Lange has 6 reverse weights to ensure the accuracy of the adjustment. Driven by its own hairspring balance system, in order to ensure the most accurate frequency (which is typically 18,000 / hour), the balance will closely match the characteristics of the movement.
